  1. I must disagree my Basenji (name Chips) is great with my children I have a six-year-old and a nine-year-old. They all play together without any problems, chips is about 17 months and he is a great dog. I’ve had a few dogs throughout my lifetime but I can honestly say the chips has been the most smartest dog I have ever owned. Chips hates to take baths so every time I tell him hey chips you’re ready to take a bath he literally replies by saying no, well it sounds like he’s saying no. I wish I could post a video so you guys could see it. It is the most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen.
