Known for its temperament and courage, the Miniature Bull Terrier, or simply Mini Bull traces its origins to ancient England. It also well-known and like for its appearance, which is very unique unlike other similar dogs from that family. Of the Miniature Bulls, this is the smallest existing species, with its cousins all but extinct. Before being tamed as pets, they were used in gambling because they were active and very strong. The Miniature Bull Terrier is a descendant of the classical English Bulldog and the White English Terrier. It was first brought to life in the early 1880, and has survived generation until today. It name is borrowed from the two breeds that first mated and sired the very first Bull Terrier.

The longest a Mini Bull has ever survived is 13 years. Just like any other dog, they too are prone to certain common diseases associated to their types. Their most common ailment is blindness, due to dislocation of the eye lens. Other concerns include allergies and congenital deafness.

Temperament and Personality :

The mini bull dog is an active dog, which loves outdoor activities. You will never find it lazing around unless it is sick or tired after an active activity. They are also know for the “Bully Runs” in that they can just start running around the homestead for no apparent good reason.

They are very intelligent and learn things quickly. Even during their adult life, they can still learn new things. Nonetheless, training should be done when they are still young. Harsh training is never recommended as they respond poorly to and harsh treatment.
