Parson Russell Terrier

This dog is a breed of the small white terrier of the original Fox Terriers during the eighteenth century. The breed gets its name after the individual who was credited with the development of this dog. Mostly, he is white with a rough, or smooth or broken coat. He is feisty and energetic.

In the middle of the nineteenth century, this dog descended from dog by the name Trump. The owner of this dog was passionate and enthusiastic about hunting. He decided to come up with terriers that could chase and dispatch foxes and at the same time match the speed of horses. He developed a very successful breed and he ultimately gave the breed his name. The most notable thing is that Russell did not display or show off this breed in shows.

The Parson Russell Terrier has an average lifespan of between 13-15 years. Occasionally, he may suffer from compulsive behavior, deafness, ataxia, glaucoma, and legg-perthes disease.
